Caring Outreach would like to thank our Church Family for their many contributions to our group. Your support and contributions enable us to help our church family as well as others in our community.
Many are unaware of our mission in the church and community. Our church family and others are sent cards for sickness, bereavement, thinking of you for shut ins and special occasions. Meals are provided when needed after a hospital stay or sickness or in time of need, and loss of loved ones. Visits and phone calls are made by this group. Soup is made yearly to donate when needed.
The ladies of Outreach support the WATTS program at this church by doing a breakfast when we house them, doing a meal for both the warming and cooling shelter and donating other supplies, and filling a basket to auction at their yearly Large Fundraising event. We also support the Coldest Night of The year event.
We furnish children at Orchard View Elementary with monthly weekend BACK Pack lunches . This congregation donates school items to Bright Futures yearly at the beginning of school. We also make food boxes for families during holiday seasons as well as contribute to Trinity Lutheran food items for 80 school food boxes they fill.
These activities require lots of help. We invite everyone to join our Outreach group and be a part of this Outreach mission. We meet the Second Friday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall!!
