We are located in downtown Stephens City, at 5291 Main Street. Take Interstate I-81, exit 307, and go west two blocks to the traffic light (intersection of 277 and US 11). Turn right (north), and the church is two blocks on your left. Parking is available in the rear.

Preschool Registration
Stephens City United Methodist Preschool registration is open to all church members. Please pick up a packet in the church gathering area if you are interested in registering for preschool during the 2012-2013 school year. Students must be 3-years-old by September 30, 2012 to be enrolled in the 3-year-old program and 4-years-old by September 30, 2012 to be enrolled in the 4-year-old program. Do you like to eat homegrown vegetables, but you aren't able to have a garden? You are in luck! We are starting a Community Garden at the home of D. Phillips. Please join us in the development of this garden! We currently need Committee members for this and there is a display and sign-up sheet in the Gathering Area. After all, "Give a man a tomato; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to garden; and you have fed him for a lifetime!" Parents Night Out - Feb. 11
Go out on a date to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The Sr. High youth are offering a parents night out on Saturday Feb 11th from 5pm till 9pm, in the Fellowship hall. A free will offering will be available to support this summer’s mission trip, Ladies Tea - Feb. 11
Feb. 11 at noon, the UMW will sponsor a Ladies Tea. Details on the guest speaker, ticket information and other details will be forthcoming soon! Our annual Ash Wednesday service will be on February 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. This is a service that is about redemption, preparation and cleansing from sin. Our scripture lessons will be the traditional readings for Ash Wednesday: Joel 2:1-2, 12-17; Psalm 51:1-17; II Corinthians 5:20b-6:10; Matthew 6:1-6, 16-21. Rev. Butcher will preach on “The Danger of Lent.” There will be the imposition of the ashes as we remember our mortality and seek the grace of Christ. New Members to be received on Feb. 26

Do You Buy Groceries? Martin’s Grocery store offers a program where they will sell the youth group gift cards at a 5% discount. The Sr. High youth are selling the gift cards to help raise money for their summer mission trip to work with children in downtown Brooklyn.
