UMM Guest Speaker - June 16th
Mr. Chuck Hollingsworth is the Winchester District UMM Vice President for Membership. Chuck will be sharing stories of his work with the Corps of Engineers in Iraq, and his visits to the City of Ur and the Prophet Abraham's home.

Symphony of the Valley
Will present a concert, Sunday, June 9th at 3 pm in the SCUMC Fellowship Hall, which will feature composers including Mozart, Vaughn Williams and Shore along with selections which include: "Lord of the Rings," "Les Miserables" and "The Syncopated Clock."

Talent Show, July 13th
Got talent? Can you sing, dance, pull rabbits from hats? Want to show it off? OR, if that's not your thing, can you do yard work, paint, do alterations, give haircuts or manicures, baby sit, read to someone? We are looking for willing participants for the talent show.

Marching to Mortgage relief!! - June 22nd
Danielle Ames will be leading a mini-workshop on the Dave Ramsey financial steps to becoming debt-free (yes, even your mortgage). This Christian-based workshop can lead into a 13 week event with specific steps for your financial future.

Voice Lessons
SCUMC choir member and Children's/Youth Choir Accompanist, Donna Green (SU doctoral student), is offering Summer voice lessons for any youth or adult singers who are interested in vocal coaching or preparing solos. Please call her at (517)862-8013 or email: donnaaverde@comcast.net.

Trustees Notice, June 22nd
The trustees will be the cleaning the brush in the back parking lot that has become overgrown. Looking for as many volunteers as possible for this clean-up. Contact Lew Boyer at 869-1530 or the church office at 869-2348.

UMW June Events
June 11th (Tuesday) @ 7 pm in room 200- The Susanna Circle will meet to honor loved ones through our Annual Candle Burning Ceremony. Our mission project will be to complete the UMCOR Baby Layette Kits and then we will enjoy an ice cream sundae. Bring a favorite topping to share. June 20th (Thursday) @ 12:30 in room 102- The Phoebe Circle will meet to complete UMCOR Birthing Kits and enjoy a lunch together. Coming Soon- On July 9th we will be going to the Winchester House for our Birthday Blast with the residents. If you would be willing to make a sheet cake for this occasion, please contact Gaylene at 869-1086.

Sunday School Teachers Needed
There are two vacant Sunday School teacher positions open at the elementary level as well as a need for two substitute teachers. The pay is outstanding - making disciples of our young people!!!
